What do you enjoy most about your career in wealth management and financial planning?
It offers a lot of autonomy and independence, and the work is rewarding. I get a lot of satisfaction through helping people meet their financial and life goals, so going to work every day is something I look forward to.
Do you have a personal investment philosophy?
Every client presents a unique set of challenges and opportunities depending on their life situation, goals, and time horizon. I truly believe that good wealth strategists and financial planners can create a lot of value for their clients.
As opposed to using actively managed and potentially tax inefficient mutual funds, I am an advocate of passive investing, indexing strategies, and using low fee ETFs and mutual funds to meet client objectives.
I believe in building long-term relationships with my clients, and communicate with them regularly to be a resource, build trust, and to increase the likelihood that we meet their defined goals.
